The national charity Pact celebrated the official opening of its central office at the Thames Reach Employment Academy in Camberwell last week with a blessing from the Roman Catholic Bishop for Prisons.

Pact, which supports prisoners and their families across England and Wales, played host to their major donors, friends of the charity, and people who use their services.

Alongside the Bishop for Prisons, the Rt Rev Richard Moth, was the Archbishop of Southwark and Pact vice-president, the Rt Rev Peter Smith.

Daniel McNamara, parish & supporter relations officer, said: “This opening marks another milestone in our 117 years of history.”
