A new accredited course that will help people develop their customer service skills is being launched at the Thames Reach Employment Academy.

The Level One Award in Principles of Customer Service course is aimed at those keen on developing a career in areas such as retail, hospitality and office work.

Meanwhile a second run of the successful Digital Skills course will also be running through spring and summer this year. The Digital Skills course is for people who have little or no IT skills and aims to help people get to grips with computers and the web.

Both courses are being run by London adult training centre City Lit, in partnership with Thames Reach, and are open to anyone living in Lambeth and Southwark, Thames Reach service users, staff and volunteers. They are free for people currently receiving benefits.

Enrolment day for both courses is Thursday 9th April, 10am – 4pm at the Employment Academy, 29 Peckham Road, London SE5 8UA. The start date for both courses is Thursday 23rd April.
