Pop up seafood fundraiser at the Employment Academy

 22 June 2016

One of the capital’s most popular pop-up seafood restaurants is hosting a fundraising dinner at the Employment Academy courtyard in Camberwell in early July to raise money to support Thames Reach’s work with homeless and vulnerable people.

C Food offers an al fresco Mediterranean dining experience in an olive tree lined courtyard, with large platters of fresh seafood, chilled wines, home-brewed spicy aquavit and crusty bread.

On the evening of Sunday, July 3 a special C Food ‘seafood siesta’ with all proceeds going to Thames Reach, is being held. Tickets are £40 per person with an option to donate a little extra.

Time Out calls C Food the capital's number one pop-up restaurant, and the Sunday Times lists it as one of Britain's best al fresco dining spots.

Anneke Ziemen, the Thames Reach Employment Academy marketing and facilities manager, said: "We are so excited about this event. From the first time Millie, the founder of C FOOD, visited the Employment Academy, she has had this fantastic enthusiasm for the work we do, and we're delighted she is supporting us in this way. This evening is going to be a lot of fun."
